Where is the Carlsberg Beach Club ?
The Carlsberg Beach Club is located at Frankston Pier

Opening Hours
We are open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from midday to sunset, starting from Friday December 19 to Sunday March 29, with Fridays shifting to 4pm-sunset from February 1. Food & beverage service stop at 9.00PM

How do I book a Sunbed?
We have limited Sunbeds available, so we recommend booking in advance to secure your spot by clicking on the 'register' button above.

Day bed Sessions: (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Afternoon: 12 .30PM – 4.30 PM

Sunset: 5.00 PM – close
Cost: $130 + bf  for a booking of 2 beds and one table under a large umbrella (redeemable on food, drink, and merchandise)
Can I bring my child ?
Yes, children under 18 are welcome as long as a legal guardian or parent accompanies them at all times.
Are dogs allowed ?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted inside the Carlsberg Beach Club area. Service animals are accepted.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Due to licensing rules, the Carlsberg Beach Club has a strict policy against bringing your own food or drinks.
How to get to Frankston Pier ?
From Melbourne to Frankston:

By Car
If you plan to drive to the Carlsberg Beach Club, please drink responsibly.

Distance and Time: The driving distance from Melbourne to Frankston is approximately 55 kilometres, which takes around 1 hour, depending on traffic conditions
Route: You can drive via the M1 (Monash Freeway) and Eastlink (M3) motorways or Nepean Highway

By Train
Direct Train: Take the Frankston train line from Flinders Street Station in Melbourne directly to Frankston Station.

From the Mornington Peninsula to Frankston:

By Car
Distance and Time: The driving distance from the Mornington Peninsula (e.g., Mornington town) to Frankston is approximately 20 kilometres, which takes about 25 minutes.

Route: You can drive via the Nepean Highway or use the Mornington Peninsula Freeway.

By Public Transport
Train and Bus: Depending on your exact location on the Mornington Peninsula, you can take a local bus to Frankston or first take a bus to a train station, then a train to Frankston. For instance, you can take a bus from Mornington to Frankston, which usually takes about 34 minutes.
Accessibility assistance
Unfortunately due to the nature of the beach landscape, the Carlsberg Beach Club is not accessible for wheelchair patrons. For accessibility assistance please contact our staff on the day or by email hello@frankstonbeachclub.com. We are available to help ensure you have a comfortable experience.
Is there parking on-site?
We suggest utilising the following public parking options, however, fees and restrictions may apply, so please check signage: Nepean highway, Frankston Pier carpark, Pier promenade (note: due to peak summer season, spaces are subject to availability), Frankston Civic Centre, Bayside Shopping Centre Entertainment Complex, Young street Carpark (corner of Young st & Davey st).

Toilets
The restrooms are at the Visitor Centre, which is 20 meters away, or in the main car park, about 50 meters from the Carlsberg Beach Club.
What is the environmental impact of the Carslberg Beach Club ?
We are committed to minimising our environmental footprint. An ecological impact study was conducted at Frankston Foreshore to ensure our event aligns with environmental guidelines. A noise management assessment has been undertaken, and the event will adhere to EPA guidelines.  Carlsberg Beach Club has worked closely with Council throughout planning to minimise impacts to the environment and surrounding residents.

What if there is poor weather?
In the event of wet or wild weather, the Beach Club may close. Please check Instagram for updates on trading hours. Any Day Bed booking for the session can transfer to a different day/time or receive a refund.
Conditions of Entry
No smoking or vaping is allowed within the licensed area. Carlsberg Beach Club is a family friendly environment. You are required to act in a safe, responsible, and courteous manner at all times to management, staff, guests, and security. Anti- social behaviour will not be tolerated.

You must follow all directions given by representatives of the Carlsberg Beach Club in the event of changing weather conditions or closure.
Proof of age may be requested by management.  Please ensure you have ID ready to present to avoid disappointment.

Due to the nature of the beach, areas of the Carlsberg Beach Club are exposed to direct sunlight, heat, and other elements. Seating may be in the sun for part or all of the day. Remember to stay hydrated and use sun protection. Management will not be liable for lost or damage to property brought to the Carlsberg Beach Club. 

Please keep your items with you at all times. You are required to observe a standard of dress suitable to the area.  You consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. To enhance safety and security, surveillance equipment (CCTV) will be in operation on event and non-event days, made available to local law enforcement authorities. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove you from the area for the safety and comfort of other guests and staff. 

This includes:
If you are in breach of the above conditions;
If you are considered to be intoxicated;
If you have previously been refused entry to or removed from the licensed area.
